Journeys built around contemplative practice — from silent Vipassana retreats to group meditation circuits through sacred landscapes.
The Practice
At Design Couture Atelier, meditation is not an add-on to travel — it is the journey itself. Our meditation travel programs are built around sincere contemplative practice, guided by teachers with decades of dedicated training across multiple traditions.
Whether you are a total beginner seeking your first taste of stillness or a seasoned practitioner looking for an intensive deepening, we design the right environment for your practice to flourish.
From 3-day introductions to 10-day silent intensives — held in forest monasteries and mountain hermitages worldwide.
Sesshin-style sitting periods, koan study, and oryoki meals led by Soto Zen and Rinzai teachers in authentic settings.
Guided Tonglen, Tummo, and visualization practices in retreat settings near Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in Nepal and Bhutan.
Meditation Programs
Each program is matched to your experience level and intentions. Our consultants will help you find the perfect fit.

Advanced · Mastery
Tibetan Buddhist · Nepal & Bhutan
For experienced meditators — 21 days of semi-solitary practice in a hermitage above 3,000m. Supported by a senior lama and daily group practice periods at a nearby gompa.
Community Practice
Our group meditation journeys combine sincere practice with the rare gift of traveling alongside a community of genuine seekers. Something shifts when you sit in stillness with others — the energy becomes collective, the silence richer.
Design Couture Atelier group journeys attract people from all walks of life united by one thing: the longing to go deeper. Past participants include artists, doctors, parents, entrepreneurs, and monastics-in-waiting.
